Hello dear friend! I want to create some clock. But with 7.5 inch display. But the U8g2lib dont work with my display. Can you help me with this problem?

https://www.waveshare.com/7.5inch-e-paper-hat.htm problem with this display.

It doesn't work with libraries U8g2lib. Perhaps you have a solution to the problem.

Nice project! I see that the display is a little slow to update so you probably wouldn't want to display seconds. I know that e-ink displays are normally pretty slow. I'm waiting to find one that updates a bit more quickly.

Nice Display and nice clear characters. It would be good if you could put a manual setting function via some buttons and also a GPS status on the display so you could more practically use it in the house where you may want to set it manually or need to kno that the GPS was/Wasn't available.

An acrylic case would be nice for the project too!

Hi Enrico,

This clock is fixed to CET time zone, but is easy to implement lookup table to find time zone basen on gps postoin.

Yes, GPS is a great source for reliable time in addition to position information.

Thanks for comment. I think that there is possible further improvements of this clock e.g.

- support for a date,

- support for multiple time zones,

- support for DCF77 as alternative time source

Thanks for comment. I really like the eINK displays because they are very good readable even in full sun. I need to prepare nice case for this clock.

Nice project.

I have a couple of eINK displays, and for varying reasons they sit waiting.

The clock one makes very clean and easily readable display, so that looks like a good use for one of mine.

Very nice concept. I really like the self-adjusting concept of this clock. The running around and adjusting clocks on day light savings time changes is very frustrating. Did I forget a clock? Did I get all the clocks set correctly? We even bought a clock that automatically adjusts for the time change, but even it failed to switch once, leaving us a bit off schedule.
