Good useful project.

That would be great to connect up to an insulation tester output to automatically record a polarisation index curve. Monitoring the curve of a 4 wire AC impedance or 4 wire DC resistance measurement as the current or voltage varied would be another use.

Cool little project. I am surprised that you did not chose to show a diode or transistor junction.
