I do like the clever use of bodging (I think that's what the english call it) to get around the variable slippage v resistance and the angles. Well done.

This is a great project. Congratulations to the wife on the cool graphics too. I always find that these projects are more fun when other members of the family get involved. Thanks for posting it so we could all enjoy it.
