Hi! I am working on a project that I would call "My Galaxy". I have 4 rings with WS2812B LEDs, grouped like this: 1x 12, 1x 8 and 2x 8, two switches, plus the case which is 3D printed, after many attempts [emoticon:752f32bcc91d4a448db162742a877a4a]. I don't have an Arduino board, but I use an ATMega8 and Arduino IDE.
Does it qualify for this subject?

Cool topic. I am doing an interesting space project, but unfortunately it doesn't involve an Arduino or similar MCU.

I was reading through terms and conditions for the challenge and in price sanction there is mentioned about shopping card for purchase on element14.
Would that be local element14 store? sometimes, there is also customs cost involved. So on $200 it would be around $80 customs cost for my specific case...

tariq.ahmad - altho this is just a E14 project, is it encouraged to blog about the project progress ? Is there a preferred way to blog so the blogs all tie together without confusing people that they are all about one entry ?
