This one in in the books and definitely was worth attending. I got to meet Brendan (who wrote this post) and had lunch with Peter Fenn. A few years back, Peter was Mr. Azure Sphere. I must have read his tutorials a dozen times each - at least.

The event was well attended and the seminars were fantastic. There were 15 of them - so no lack of interesting material or knowledgeable speakers. The pictures don't do it justice - but I usually completely forget to take any so... I did better than normal. Avnet also did a great job with food and beverages so... that is a definite plus. Whether you are the solution provider or need to speak to one, this was a good event to be at. Well done, Avnet Team!

Argh! Schedule conflict. It's also a 7-hour drive - each way. I do like that the Hudsonville seminar is in the realm of possibility.

Very interesting - but not directly usable for our SPE Design Challenge - Microchip produces 10BASE-T1S (short range, multi-point) components (I have even bought some while waiting for SPE design challenge to start but it seems that it would involve too much time to show some differences between short-range and long-range SPE - maybe in some sort of follow-up?) and our design kit is 10BASE-T1L (point-to-point, long range) based
