but the email I received after registering back on the 21st (and the add to calendar link) says:

I have been toying with different radio based communication systems for my herd of walking robots (a future project), a little bit of Bluetooth, currently using Microchip eRIC radio transceiver modules and hoping to find out more about IoT WiFi in the not too distant future. I don't know much about LoRa, although thinking about it I realised I don't know anything about it despite having looking at a number of Element14 projects that use it.

Looks like a big crowd will be watching this so they might be in the same boat as me, alternatively it might be the possibility of getting hold of an Arduino Mug that is bringing in the crowds. There is no mug linked at the top of this page with the MKR 1310 (must be an oversight) to buy and when I searched about buying an official one, there doesn't seem to be one, so I will obviously need a killer question to win one - maybe 'Will LoRan work if put inside an Arduino Mug?".

I doubt I can attend since I will be at work, but will watch it when it gets published.

Is there some way to submit questions ahead of time? In case you feel they are worth answering during the webinar...

For this chip set are there predefined power levels and what kind of distances and battery life are you expecting ?

I know there is already a bandwidth vs power vs distance triangle that LoRa supports to give a successful robust link.

It needs a range of 10 - 15 km with a cr2450 battery, and in the second project a range of 150 km will be powered by collecting solar energy.

My media presentation was mostly good with a few drops in the later part and then some larger gaps in the questions at the end. However this could be due to my wife on Facebook!

Some issues with media player, I saw the video stutter, audio overlapping.. I don't know why?

A good and enjoyable webinar where I understood some of the concepts of LoRa. I was pleased about this and encouraged as I do not often understand much of all the new stuff floating around - which I can sometimes used by following the instructions, but I prefer to be able to understand the concepts and then use it - whatever 'it' is.

I'm not really a radio person but I might give LoRa a try sometime, should I think of a good fun thing (e.g. mobile robot) that could use it.

I attended the seminar and especially I would like to thank Andrea for a nice presentation and then a more nice Q&A. One thing which disappoints me was the anchor's(TA) biased nature about the selection of questions. He just was much opinionists about some industrial/applications with LoRaWAN and also talking about people of the community who worked a lot with Arduino. I mean to say there are also others who might not have worked with Arduino that much but they are quite interested and have experience working on other hardware.
