I would love to do this webinar, but strangely you have it on Thanksgiving Day. I will be celebration with my family then. Why did you select Thanksgiving day for the webinar? Everyone in the US will be watching football or eating turkey that day and at 1 pm! Right in the middle of the day. Most football games will be starting at exactly that time!!!

A great introduction, thanks Phil. Watching the first video in this series, I didn't realise there were so many choices of filament. From standard plastic (PLA), ABS, rubberised, wood based, metal based etc. There was even a carbon based filament which could conduct electricity so circuits could be incorporated into the design. Another interesting aspect Iearnt was how the software slices the 3D object but if there is no support then the molten material will sag - however it seems the software can accommodate that and adds in temporary support structures (that the user can snip out afterwards) !
