That was an excellent webinar! Lots of information, an energetic host, and a few jokes hidden here and there (House is flooding? Good luck with that? Now that is an awesome IoT project!). I'm impressed with the speed at which these devices were up and running, I'll have to look into these boards a little more in the future. Thanks to everyone who made this webinar possible!

I was not able to follow the webminar. My system reported problems about audio capabilities. May be the Cisco technology you use lacks a good support for Linux systems

Other webminar from other sites (e.g. O'reilly) works with no problem.

I hope in a better support in the future, thanks!

Great webinar Adrian.

I have a few questions:

What kind of distance do you get in a typical building with CC110L units ?
Are Ti going to support a mesh networked wireless unit (Thread would be good)?
When will the 6LowPan software solution be available for SensorTag?
Is Energia usable for saleable production projects or should it be avoided in favour of a proper compiler such as CCS6?
Could you do a web seminar session on making a web server application (bringing in the web pages into SRAM etc) for CC3200 but using CCS6 and not Energia?

Damn!

I have not registered because I was with a client here, and this was a previous meeting I was not able to move ... This is a very interesting product, just here in Ibiza. There are lot of big villas and rich buildings and lot of the owners, who live here only some months along the year always ask for a sort of modular and globalized solution to check their home from remote. Not for security but also for many other aspects, including security too. As far as what the video show this solution maybe really reliable and for a modular system that can be adapted in many different situations.

I am not sure if it is the case to enroll for a road test and develop a pilot project on one of these real world situations...

Just watched the webinar again, I missed the first 10mins so it all makes much more sense.

Can the local RF sensor scheme have multiple independent groups of sensors in the same local area?

What is the range of the RF node in a building? Are walls/floors a problem?

If I could log into the cloud data with such ease, what is the security?

Great webinar, by the way, I like the products.

What a pity I was unable to join a live feed, traveling in the areas with very bad connectivity coverage... Looking from the comments, the event was great, definitely would watch the recording when come back. I've collected a bunch of TI boards, sensors, etc., with this exact idea of a distributed sensors network, but never had time to really start building. Maybe this webinar will get me started...

Hi Guys

Did anyone also attempt to do this project maybe, but instead of one way communication from the sensor nodes to the WiFi AccessPoint through to the IoT, did you try and send data back from the webpage information collector back to the AccessPoint all the way down back to the sensor nodes, like a threshold for one of the sensor nodes that needs to be settable from the Internet(webpage) or NODE RED server...Maybe Adrian you can give me better feedback.

I would also like to know what RF communication stack was used to link the nodes and is it actual two way communication used. We are planning to use the CC430F6137 for the sensor nodes, but I cant seem to find any reference to this device being used in any of the booster demo boards. The reason for using the cc430F6137 is the onboard LCD controller that we have used to drive our own custom LCD with 96 segments. My question actually is how easy will it be to implement the cc430f6137 as the sensor nodes using Energia and CCS. I could not find any CC430 demos using energia and the processor is not even listed in the processor selection.

I currently dont have any of the booster pack but I would love to order some to do an actual demo for our company and client.

Any feedback will be much appreciated guys.
