Is it possible to send the attendance link through the e14 messaging system? I registered to attend but did not receive the webinar link in my personal email. I am at work during the webinar and I don't access my personal email while at work. I would have forwarded the link to my work email if I had received it. Normally I would not attend a webinar during work hours unless it was work related, but we happen to be having a corporate brunch at the same time as the webinar. I was planning to duck the brunch and attend the webinar. I guess I will just have to attend the brunch and catch the webinar in re-run.

I wonder how they match IPv6 with short frames of 802.15.4 - understand broader addressing range but bandwidth loss for transmitting longer headers could be observable... I wonder if it matters in practice

Quiz seems to be reloading again. I honestly thought my previous response hadn’t gone through and filled in the answers again.

I once tried to setup a RPI as a Matter Router. I followed the setup as per the official repo. I ran out of storage space (64gb SDcard) before the build even completed. Is it possible to have a slim edition or just the binaries to get started? Storage is not cheap these days.

There were some audio issues during this session, adding live captions to the webinar feed would help improve accessibility overall. It would also be helpful to see a live demo of an OpenThread Border Router running on a Raspberry Pi alongside the nRF54L Series DK.

The webinar was really great and very valuable, but it would have been amazing to see how to create a completely new application from scratch — step by step, going beyond the standard ready-made examples available online and in the SDK.

A demonstration of building a custom project, from an empty code file to a fully working Matter device, would have provided incredible hands-on value for developers looking to build their own unique smart home solutions.

Very interesting, I'm new to matter, but I really see the value, great that it all is open source as well, and there seems to be a lot of teaching material around.
Thanks a lot Finn and Phil. Also I investigated a bit more in mC versus mWh, and found:
One Coulomb is equivalent to the charge of approximately 6.242 x 10^18 electrons. This means that a Coulomb is a very large unit of charge. On the other hand, one Watt-Hour is equivalent to 3.6 x 10^6 joules. This shows that a Watt-Hour is a much smaller unit of energy compared to a Coulomb. To convert between the two units, one can use the formula: 1 Watt-Hour = 3600 Coulombs.

Nice webinar. I’ll need to do the Matter Fundamentals Course at Nordic Academy. I use a lot of Nordic devices, mostly nrf52840. I’m going to try a nrf54L15 soon.

One thing that I note about matter is that when creating a product using matter protocol, we need a certificate from CSA and that may cost high starting at $2500 and renew fee each year. Maybe Finn can tell us about it in detail.

I couldn't make this live, so I'm currently trying to watch it on demand. It's a very frustrating experience. It keeps stopping with "This event has concluded. Thank you for engaging with us." At least when I restart it does seem to have remembered where I got to.
