This reduces switch node ringing thus reducing EMI. The LMG3410 also provides a RDRV pin option, for slew rate adjustability from 30-100V/ns.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Are they to be used as switching FETs, or also in the linear regulation range?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;GaN FETs and power stages are ideal for switching applications, linear regulation range is not as common. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Do you have any references design for solar inverter&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;TI currently does not have any solar inverter specific reference designs, but the LMG3410 HB EVM card as well as other reference designs can certainly get you started with a solar inverter prototype.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Does TI provide discrete GaN FETs or only integrated solutions?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;TI does not provide discrete GaN FETs, but TI does provide discrete GaN drivers along with our integrated GaN power stage. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sorry I got here late, how are you keeping the oscillations low?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;By minimizing the layout of the gate and power loop, you’re able to keep parasitic inductance very low thus reducing oscillations. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Does TI choose Cascode technology for GaN power device and why?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;No, TI utilizes direct drive technology for our GaN devices. Direct drive allows for higher switching power efficiency, and better system level reliability. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Is TI working with Transphorm/EPC/etc. to advance GaN technologies or is research and fab being done independently? &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;TI’s high voltage GaN process is completely internally developed and manufactured by TI. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Have any power designs been completed while taking advantage of the very high switching speeds available (MHz range?)?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;TI has released a complete high density AC/DC solution design, both operating at 1MHz including our CrM PFC design, and our LLC design.
