SUMMARY:Powertron – Manufacturer of the Most Precise Power Current Sense Resistors
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:GXaCG4T.png Powertron, member of the Vishay Precision Group is producing precise power current sense resistors. The most precise measuring of electrical current is achieved using current sensing resistors. In this Webinar, we will present the Powertron Power Current Sense Resistors product line. These resistors provide higher accuracy and stability in current sensing applications than any other resistor technologies including thin film, thick film, and wirewound resistors. We will explore the key specifications of these devices, including TCR, thermal EMF, and load-life drift; stress factors such as variant ambient temperatures that can affect their accuracy and the advantage of using four terminal current measurement. We will also highlight the need for precision resistors in a wide range of applications. The 15-20 minute presentation will be followed by a Q and A session. Presenters: John Dillon, Kai Karstensen John Dillon works for Powertron / Vishay Precision Group and is responsible for world wise sales of Powertron Products. John provides hands on technical support to customers and distributors in order to assist them to design in Vishay Precision Group’s Bulk Metal Foil Resistors. John is located at the manufacturing plant and has all engineering and production resources directly available. Kai Karstensen has founded the Powertron GmbH in 1991 and joined Vishay Precision Group in 2008. Kai is working for more than 25 years in the resistor business.
