	Trends in 3-Phase Energy Metering Join us for a webinar on February 6, 2013 at 5:00 PM IST.

Topic:

The Webinar will explore different system architectures of 3-phase electricity meter applications. The focus will be on differences between various current sensors and implication on the analog front, power supply and data isolation, metrology computations and system performance. Current Transformers (CTs), di/dt (Rogowski coils) and shunt resistors will be discussed.

We encourage system designers of both tariff and panel meter manufacturers to attend the Webinar to understand the pros and cons of choosing different system architectures. We also encourage Utility companies and industrial customers making key decisions on utility and panel meters to attend this Webinar to understand the benefits of choosing a certain architecture, their benefits and challenges and associated cost implications.

The Presenter:

Petre Minciunescu, Ph.D., is a systems engineer with the Energy Metering Group at Analog Devices, Inc. (Wilmington, MA). He joined ADI in 2000 and has held a variety of systems engineering roles within motor control and DSP organizations. He graduated with an electrical engineering degree from Polytechnic Institute in Bucharest, Romania in 1988 and received his Ph.D. from Politecnico University in Turin, Italy in 1996.
