This looks complicated. Still I wrote my first computer game on a main frame in Basic using punch cards. It didn't work. This looks much easier.

This took a bit of time and effort, but I learnt a lot in doing it, and managed to get it working first time.

It appears that the version now on the BBC micro:bit website that I am using is a bit different from the version you used, which gives some spurious differences (e.g. if... then rather than if... do, and "change y of Hazard0 by 1" became "Hazard0 change y by 1") - which on the face of it sounds trivial, but it isn't if you are doggedly looking for the wrong one!

By the way the fourth graphic in your blog has a block that has slipped out of its socket and is sitting further down - the "PlayerOne touching Hazard0 ?" block...

I managed to put this prog. together to help my Grandaughter with her school work, however I have ended up with a spurious character which won't delete.

The prog. appears to run ok

Will it spoil the game when we compile it?

This one was a bit challenging and involved. Very refreshing though. I am falling more and more inlove with this little teeny-weeny yet explosively versatile device.

This is interesting as almost complex and experience a number of programming skills but IMHO the code itself is a bit too complex to show with block images. At least very difficult to replicate. Maybe anyway a good exercise for programming understanding and writing it without a bare copy and paste.
