The compact design and multiple features of the BBC micro:bit allow for a wide range of opportunities to incorporate the device into your day to day life. Once your students have got the hang of programming the device to perform simple functions, you might want to encourage them to build on what they've learned by making the BBC micro:bit a part of their daily routine.

In association with the BBC, we've put together a suggested timetable of BBC micro:bit activities designed to accompany you from waking up in the morning to falling asleep at night. You could encourage your class to follow this routine from start to finish, or challenge them to create their own personal schedule by experimenting with other ways in which the BBC micro:bit can make their everyday tasks a little easier or more exciting.
