The first prototype has served its purpose. It is time to layout the next model. I wanted the model to be shiny so it is made out of Plexiglas. This aided development because I could draft on the computer print the draft and copy over to the Plexiglass to be cut out.
By heating the Plexiglass I was able to bend the unit the way I wanted. I am really happy with the box.
The unit flexes a bit more than I would like on the arm. I’ll bend in a little reinforcement to stiffen it. I’ll also finish the box to add a place to put the electronics.
