I started teaching as a science teacher and after attending Picademy (the RPi foundations free teacher CPD) I have been looking for ways to do some cross curricular work with the RPi. This project was a great opportunity to do so.

My son already has plans for the 3D printer - printing things from Minecraft. He saw this at an event last year and has been obsessed with the idea ever since. Guess I'll have to work out how to do it now.

I will probably also be using this with my current AgoBo based robot project - Raspberry Why?: Agobo The Hackable Raspberry Pi Robot - now with emotions
