Most engineers are introverted and have to expend a lot of mental energy to have sustained interactions with groups of people, as in teaching. It's great that extroverted engineers or introverts willing to expend the effort are doing these programs. BlueStamp sounds neat.

I only taught a class for one term, but I found it very difficult to be the bad guy and give any bad grades. I admire people who can do it well.

I too reject claims that teaching is for those who can't cut it in industry. Teaching and getting stuff working are just different skills. It's great that people who can do both are taking time to teach.
