With this intelectual and visonary legacy Steve's has giving. I realized the importance of working with intelligence than work brutaly.

It does not matter if you liked Steve or hated him, you have to acknowledge that the world is a better place due to his drive, persistance and vision. It was from his beginning that most of us have at least one computer in our house and now most have one with us everywhere we go. Part of his vision was to change the way the world used technology and in that respect, he did more than just about anyone else through his innovation in products.

RIP Steve, you earned it.

Nice post, Cabe. Enjoyed the historical perspective of Job's career. And I didn't know the tidbit about NeXT and Doom - very interesting.

I have never been a fan of Apple products personally, but I applaud the drive and vision this man had to make his company produce products that just worked. Products that changed the face of technology, and drove other companies to do bigger and better things to beat them.

He will be missed on many levels, and I hope that his vision and determination remain with Apple in other guises. The technology market needs companies like Apple to push the boundaries - not necessarily inventing brand new things, but making them marketable and understanding how to energise the public into buying (and buying into) that new technology.

My sympathies to his family and friends, and my thoughts go with Steve wherever he is now.
