Alternate reality would be similar to virtual reality where the user is completely immersed, whereas augmented reality imposes virtual aspects on the real world.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I would love to see this, and eventually surgically implanted displays.
