The reversible nature of this new connector will make connecting devices much easier. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Innovations like this will enable devices to become smaller, more ergonomic, and provide a better experience for users. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It unfortunately reminded me of an &amp;quot;initiative&amp;quot; by the European Commission to create a &amp;#39;Common external power supply&amp;#39; and enforce manufacturers to follow this for mobile devices sold to EU member states.
