Google has also argued that while JavaScript is good for building simple Web applications, it has its shortcomings in maintaining structure as a program grows. Dart attempts to address this as well

Dart ranked 43rd in the Tiobe Programming Community Index for October 2012, obviously overrun by JavaScript.

Great effort, no doubt, and even though not all of us are JavaScript haters, it's great to know many people is working to change the way things are done to benefit the developer community, which is the main reason to ever do this in the first place.

The only war being played here is the one that attempts to make everything easier, because after all, that's what we all do, right? And of course we all have a different point of view over the same subject, but brainstorming and actually working on things to improve them, is the way we'll accomplish lots of great things, so both thums up for Dart and all the team behind it!
