&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;A leading manufacturer of laser and light systems in the aesthetic medical market has unveiled a new temperature monitoring device designed to improve safety.&lt;span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sciton has released TempAssure to complement its ProLipo PLUS system, which produces 40 watts of power from its diode laser, making it the most powerful and versatile laser-assisted lipolysis system on the market.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;TempAssure accurately reads the temperature of the laser energy accurately to within one degree, giving physicians the confidence to proceed with operations knowing that patient safety is being protected.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Marc Salzman, managing director at the University Division of Plastic Surgery, said TempAssure is &amp;quot;state-of-the-art&amp;quot; when it comes to temperature monitoring.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;quot;It facilitates direct measurement of internal temperatures in all phases of the laser application which gives an increase in both safety and efficacy,&amp;quot; he added.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The release follows news that the ultrafast laser developer Raydiance has announced the introduction of Smart Light, a software-controlled laser for manufacturing medical micro-devices.&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19203654"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-19203654-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19203654" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
