A new electrical isolating buffer amplifier for the automotive industry has been launched by IPETRONIK.

The manufacturer's new ISO Voltage Divider isolating buffer amplifier alongside its new measurement cable, which incorporates current-limiting resistors.

IPETRONIK's Voltage Divider works at a temperature range between -40 degrees C and +85 degrees C.

It has a standard measuring range of ±6000V and conforms to Protection Class IP67.

Enclosed in a 100mm x 51mm by 25mm housing, the Voltage Divider has been designed to cope with the higher demands of electrically driven vehicles, currently being developed by manufacturers across the world.

Meanwhile, the cable's sensors have been selected so that they protect the user, by keeping leakage below a level that would be dangerous if the cable was damaged.

The announcement comes as IPETRONIK launched its new series of fast measurement modules covering twelve unipolar and bipolar measurement ranges.
