Sunovia delivers LED roadway light replacements

LED lighting developer Sunovia Energy Technologies has announced the launch of the first in a line of EvoLucia LED cobra head products.

The products are intended to replace the traditional HID cobra head style lighting fixtures currently used along roadways, dramatically decreasing energy consumption and guaranteeing a longer bulb life.

Additionally, Sunovia's light aiming technologies allow the fixtures to direct light precisely on the specified location, eliminating light pollution and increasing illumination efficiency.

All of the EvoLucia LED cobra head products can be retrofitted to existing housing, meaning only the old lamp and ballast need to be replaced.

Bob Fugerer, president of Sunovia Energy Technologies, commented: "We are very excited by the positive response that we have received regarding this new product line."

The Sarasota-based firm was recently presented with its local Chamber of Commerce's top award in the Think Green category, which rewards commitment to sustaining and enhancing the environment.
