&lt;span&gt;More than 500 companies from LA County have met to celebrate the region&amp;#39;s innovation in a range of fields.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;LA County Tech Week, which was held at the Business Technology Center in Altadena, aimed to acknowledge the &amp;amp;quot;vibrant state&amp;amp;quot; of the technological landscape in the area.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;More than 50 exhibits were set up and they surrounded a looping 16 ft LED wall and a number of television kiosks that displayed footage from a range of new video games and other products.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;The Los Angeles technology sector is unarguably one of the strongest technology economies in the world and our eighth annual Tech Week reflects that vitality,&amp;amp;quot; commented Dr Mark Lieberman from the community development commission of Los Angeles County and co-founder and co-chair of the event.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;In other news, earlier this month, industry analyst NanoMarkets published predictions that sales of large-area and printed sensors could exceed $6 billion (£3.6 billion) by 2016.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19423219"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-19423219-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19423219" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
