ERNI Electronics launches new connectors

One German-based company has launched a new range of connectors which claim to offer high precision, stability and contact reliability.

The ERbic connectors from ERNI Electronics have reduced external dimensions in order to offer users with a form factor adjusted to Siemens PLCs.

Available with an exchangeable cable strain relief for cable diameters from 6-9 mm, the bus connectors may be imprinted using a conventional ID plate.

A standard screwdriver is all that is needed for assembly and disassembly and all enclosed parts come preassembled.

The switch status is easily visible due to the red lever, while a large space is provided for custom labelling.

Designed for data rates up to 12Mbit/s in applications according to IP20, the devices employ various cable connection options, such as IDC terminals, cage clamp or screw terminals.

ERNI Electronics currently employs approximately 650 workers and achieves annual sales of 150 million euro (£141 million).
