Strategy Analytics to hold semiconductor webinar

A webinar is to take place that will discuss how the demand for semiconductors will enable platforms in the defence industry.

Hosted by Strategy Analytics, the webinar will be held on Tuesday November 3rd and will present the key findings from its Advanced Defence Systems service.

Those participating in the event will be provided with a comprehensive overview of platforms incorporating radar communications, smart munitions and electronic technologies.

Asif Anwar, a Strategy Analytics analyst, will also indentify the growth dynamics of the defence industry.

Stephen Entwistle, vice-president of the company's Strategic Technologies Practice division, added that the research "identifies the key enabling technologies being used in specific platforms, as well as future trends for semiconductor demand from the defence industry".

He believes that advance semiconductor technologies will be a core differentiator for future defence systems".

Meanwhile, OSRAM Opto Semiconductor is set to launch its new compact LED at the OSRAM Opto Semiconductor, Embedded.com recently reported.
