New LEDs for 'tough environments' launched

Albeo Technologies has launched a new range of light fixtures which it states are ideal for use in demanding environments.

The S-Series line of general illumination products boasts a number of features that make the products perfect for tougher surroundings.

According to the firm, which is a leading LED lighting manufacturer, these include heavy-gauge aluminium housings, high-performance thermal conductors, large area thermal radiators, toroidal power conversion, high impact optics, top tier LEDs and silicone gasketed water-tight seals.

This means that the product delivers a better performance than traditional fluorescent-based light fixtures designed for use in adverse conditions.

Paul Winker, key account manager at Albeo, said: "LED lighting is a natural fit for demanding environments."

He also explained that "when energy savings is added, customers immediately understand how our new S-Series sealed High-Bay can help them meet their sustainability and energy savings goals".
