&lt;span&gt;Opnext will be demonstrating four of its latest laser technology and optoelectronics projects at this year&amp;#39;s Optical Fiber Communication Conference. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Amongst the demos highlighting Opnext&amp;#39;s core technologies is the first live showing of a real-time 100 Gbps dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) solution using a single wavelength coherent receiver.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The company is also demonstrating a 43 Gbps Tunable 5x7&amp;amp;quot; 300-pin transponder featuring a Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying modulation scheme already available for customers to purchase.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Opnext believes this transponder will allow the industry to take the next step towards integrated solutions for up to 43 Gbps long-haul line-side applications.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Gilles Bouchard, Opnext&amp;#39;s president and chief executive, said: &amp;amp;quot;This has been a year of many firsts for Opnext in the 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps space and our live real-time single-wavelength 100 Gbps DWDM trial has positioned Opnext as a leader in next-generation technologies.&amp;amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;As well as showcasing these four products, Opnext has joined forces with three other optoelectronics companies to demonstrate the successful passing of 100-gigabit Ethernet between a router and an optical transport system using CFP technologies.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19685567"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-19685567-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19685567" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
