&lt;span&gt;A Taiwanese optoelectronics manufacturer said it expects its revenues to increase by 30 per cent later this year, thanks to shipments of capacitive touch panels to global consumer electronics vendors.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Young Fast Optoelectronics announced that shipments of the panels totalled 17.6 million units for the first quarter of 2010, a slight drop from the final quarter of 2009, when it achieved 18 million units.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;However, the firm, which enjoyed a 15 per cent increase in its revenue in the fourth quarter of 2009, is expecting a 30 per cent rise by the end of this year, Digitimes reports.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Its top three consumer electronics client are Samsung, LG and HTC, all of which are involved in the global smartphone market.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Specialising in small to medium-sized touch panels, Young Fast employs more than 3,700 staff at its facilities in Taiwan and China.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The company&amp;#39;s philosophy centres on &amp;amp;quot;taking risks and facing challenges head on&amp;amp;quot; as it strives to become a world-class innovator.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19752480"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-19752480-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19752480" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
