&lt;span&gt;A US consumer electronics brand has released a new white colour LED lighting product it claims is brighter and more efficient than its predecessors.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;General Electric Lighting Solutions (GE Lighting Solutions) has updated its Tetra MAX LED range, which now offers customers 43 per cent more lumens per foot as well as giving a 43 per cent wider viewing angle than previous versions.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The company stated that its new diode-based technology offers customers uniform light while providing energy savings of 80 per cent compared with neon luminaires.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Eric Stevenson, GE Lighting Solutions&amp;#39; global product manager for signage, said the Tetra LED systems create prominent brand signage for businesses while being dependable and having a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;Our latest technology shows our commitment to helping lighting designers and end-users get more light, with fewer materials, that offers appealing results visually, financially and environmentally,&amp;amp;quot; he added.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;GE&amp;#39;s wide range of business interests includes financial services, energy generation and the manufacturing of jet engines.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19806435"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-19806435-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19806435" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
