&lt;span&gt;International Light Technologies (ILT) is joining forces with a food and household goods wholesaler in a bid to create a new LED refrigerated case lighting system to be installed in its 68 stores across the US.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;ILT&amp;#39;s latest diode-based product features state-of-the-art eco-friendly technology that offers lower energy consumption as well as being &amp;amp;quot;extremely low maintenance&amp;amp;quot; to the customer.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Furthermore, the Massachusetts-based manufacturer suggested its Caselight manages to avoid the issue of hazardous waste often associated with fluorescent luminaires, thanks to the incorporation of LEDs.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Meanwhile, the system&amp;#39;s durable aluminium extrusion construction will protect the diodes and drivers and means there will no exposed lenses on the appliances that could crack or break.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Thom Connolly, the company&amp;#39;s president and chief executive said he is pleased that having working with BJ&amp;#39;s on this project, ILT have been able to develop a &amp;amp;quot;quality and sturdy lighting product that has applications across a wide spectrum of uses&amp;amp;quot;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The firm was established in 2005 as a result of merger between Gilway Technical Lamp and International Light, with the latter two organisations commanding 45 years of expertise in the sector.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19820180"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-19820180-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=19820180" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
