Users of NVIDIA's 3D Vision Pro three-dimensional glasses-based imaging system are told that the sensors used in the spectacles mean there should be no problems due to crosstalk.

The glasses use radio frequency signals to control active shutters which determine the visual signal that reaches each eye.

By sending a slightly different image to each eye, a true stereoscopic experience can be recreated.

However, the sensors used must be accurate enough to ensure that only the desired signal is handled, to avoid multiple users' experiences being interfered with by their neighbours.

NVIDIA claims to have overcome this problem, saying that 3D Vision Pro can transmit over 150 feet without blind spots or crosstalk between neighbouring systems.

The glasses are designed to work with compatible LCD panels, although they can also be used with any compatible display equipment or projectors, allowing large-scale three-dimensional images to be recreated if desired for groups of viewers.
