Scarisbrick brings technical advice to semiconductors firm Inphi

Semiconductors developer Inphi is to benefit from the technical advice of John Scarisbrick, it has been announced.

Described as an "industry leader" by the semiconductors brand, Mr Scarisbrick also serves as executive chairman of Cranberry Township-based Netronome Systems, a network flow processor developer.

He also serves on two other company boards: Innovative Silicon, based in Lausanne, Switzerland and ARM Holdings of Cambridge, England.

The latter is the world leader in intellectual property for the microprocessor market, Inphi says.

As a member of Inphi's Technical Advisory Panel, Mr Scarisbrick will collaborate on the provision of strategic insight on technology and company direction.

The news follows Inphi's announcement that it has opened a design centre based in the UK to research high-speed analogue semiconductor solutions.

Interface devices which are intended for use with 100 Gbps networks are a particular area of focus for the centre, which is located in Preston Deanery in Northamptonshire.
