&lt;span&gt;By the start of 2012, consumers will be able to buy an &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.element-14.com/community/groups/Lighting" target="_blank"&gt;LED light&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt; bulb controllable from an Android device.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The step forms part of Google&amp;amp;#39;s move into home automation, cnet.com has reported.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;At a recent conference, Google demonstrated how Android devices can control multiple devices in the home.
