&lt;span&gt;Evident Technologies and Samsung Electronics Co have signed a comprehensive patent licensing and purchasing agreement for Evident&amp;amp;#39;s quantum dot LED technology.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Under the terms of the agreement, Samsung have been granted worldwide access to Evident&amp;amp;#39;s patent portfolio for all products related to quantum dot LEDs from manufacture of the quantum dot nanomaterials to final LED production.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;We are excited that Samsung, the leader in consumer electronics, has licensed our quantum dot technology,&amp;amp;quot; remarked Dr Clint Ballinger, chief executive of Evident Technologies.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;We already enjoy a terrific working relationship and look forward to the future of this technology.&amp;amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Evident Technologies explained that it is currently determined to develop next-generation thermoelectric applications using their core quantum dot material technology.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Elsewhere, the world&amp;amp;#39;s largest LED screen has been unveiled in Seoul Square, South Korea.
