&lt;span&gt;In news that may interest wireless communication device manufacturers, Research In Motion (RIM) has confirmed that it will launch their tablet &amp;amp;#39;Playbook&amp;amp;#39; in India on June 22nd.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;RIM has sold over 250,000 of its Playbook device in the first month of its launch, a report has confirmed.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The Playbook went on sale in Canada and the United States on April 19th and is likely to be unveiled on June 20th in Australia.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;According to RBC Capital Market, the device is targeting to meet their sale targets of half million sometime by the end of 2011.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;In other industry news, HTC has confirmed recently that its sales for May reached £860 million, more than double the same month a year earlier.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The monthly sales of the Taiwanese firm compared with £400 million a year ago and £820 million in April.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Ever since HTC started to predominantly produce handsets for Google&amp;amp;#39;s Android mobile operating system, it has seen sales improve dramatically.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Posted by Andre Dixon&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800575556"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-800575556-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800575556" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
