&lt;span&gt;The founder of a communications firm has suggested that business start-ups can learn important lessons on innovation from Steve Jobs, the former chief executive of Apple.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Carmine Gallo, author of &amp;amp;#39;The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs&amp;amp;#39; and founder of name of firm, observed that the departing Apple chief executive&amp;amp;#39;s prolific creativity is a consequence of his belief in the importance of diversity.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;Surround yourself with people who have diverse experiences, but also have diverse experiences yourself - that, to Steve Jobs, is the secret of creativity,&amp;amp;quot; Mr Gallo remarked.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;He studied calligraphy, so he applied calligraphy to his vision of computers.
