Using patents it bought from Google last week, wireless communication device firm HTC has lodged a fresh complaint against Apple with the US International Trade Commission.

According to the Taiwanese firm, Apple's devices infringe patents involving Wi-Fi capability and processor communication technology.

This is, in fact, the third complaint that HTC has filed against Apple.

"We are taking this action against Apple to protect our intellectual property, our industry partners, and most importantly our customers that use HTC phones," Grace Lei, general counsel of HTC, commented.

Meanwhile, Jason Jenkins, the editor of technology review website CNET UK, suggested recently that the iPhone 5 will feature a new version of Apple's mobile phone software that includes a new feature called iCloud.

He explained that the iCloud will allow users to copy photos, apps, contacts and documents between any compatible Apple devices.

"It is likely to feature a faster processor called the Apple A5," Mr Jenkins commented.
