&lt;span&gt;BlackBerry services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa have been restored following a 20-hour blackout, wireless communication device users may wish to know.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Research In Motion, the firm behind the range of handsets, confirmed earlier this morning that all services were now &amp;amp;quot;operating normally&amp;amp;quot;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The crash meant that millions of Blackberry users were left without email, web browsing and messaging services.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;Blackberry runs two infrastructures,&amp;amp;quot; Simon Butler, a Microsoft Exchange consultant at Sembee, explained to wireless communication device users and others.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;The understanding I have is that the BIS service has crashed.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;The business side runs on a different set of servers, although enterprise Blackberrys can still use messenger and the consumer services, so they are also affected,&amp;amp;quot; Mr Butler remarked.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;In other industry news, Google recently confirmed its intention of challenging Apple&amp;amp;#39;s iPhone in the lucrative wireless communication device market by announcing that it will launch the Samsung Nexus Prime in October in San Diego.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Posted by Andre Dixon&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800755529"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-800755529-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800755529" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
