&lt;span&gt;A higher price tag does not necessarily guarantee a better tablet, an IT expert has claimed.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;James Holland, editor at electricpig.co.uk, a gadget news website that aims to deliver the latest on technology, cited the HP Touchpad as an example of this, wireless communication device users may be keen to learn.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;It&amp;amp;#39;s a fantastic device, and now it&amp;amp;#39;s been discontinued,&amp;amp;quot; Mr Holland said, &amp;amp;quot;the prices are falling and it is flying off the shelves.&amp;amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;He added: &amp;amp;quot;It&amp;amp;#39;s had such a second wind that HP has been forced to make a few more, despite publicly abandoning it.&amp;amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Despite this, Mr Holland said that the Touchpad remains a great example of hardware and software working together well, adding that this is why the iPad is &amp;amp;quot;such a joy to use&amp;amp;quot;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;At the moment,&amp;amp;quot; he observed, &amp;amp;quot;few Android tablets come close to marrying up the hardware and software experience.&amp;amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 5 in the coming months, which is likely to cause a huge stir in the smartphone market.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800730093"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-800730093-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800730093" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
