&lt;span&gt;Mobile phone giant Nokia has announced the launch of two new smartphones, both of which are based on Microsoft&amp;amp;#39;s new Windows Phone 7.5 operating system, wireless communication device users may be interested to learn.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;According to market analysts, the new Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 represent the Finnish firm&amp;amp;#39;s fightback against Apple&amp;amp;#39;s iPhone.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Nokia&amp;amp;#39;s new boss, Stephen Elop, commented: &amp;amp;quot;Lumia is the first real Windows phone.&amp;amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Furthermore, he also suggested that the company would eventually become the leader in &amp;amp;quot;smartphone design and craftsmanship&amp;amp;quot;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;amp;quot;We expect people to see something special when they hear Nokia,&amp;amp;quot; he added.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Nokia faces stiff competition in the wireless communications device market, especially as Apple only recently launched its iPhone 4S handset.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;The handset, the first launched since the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, has been confirmed as its best-selling device by pre-order sales.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Consequently, some analysts are sceptical as to whether Nokia will be able to compete.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Posted by Andre Dixon&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800778775"&gt;&lt;img alt="ADNFCR-1785-ID-800778775-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&amp;amp;itemid=800778775" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
