Well I found a place where Vintage meets the Raspberry Pi

I love when an old idea fits in a new place. Kinda of gives us old timers hope <wink wink>. I found this on kickstarter where an analogue tube audio is married to a Raspberry Pi hat. Has anyone pledged to this? I would love to know the results.

It seems that they had some redesigning to overcome issues. It now sports a very large heatsink which almost dwarfs the valve. I always though the improved sound was not only because of the valve, but…

Those tube amps never seem to die. A guy I work with has one on his desk, not that interfaces with a pi, but it sits between his computer and his headphones. My interest in tubes is the Nixie Tube clocks…

This ensured that harmonics got knocked.
