This blog is a brief introduction to single transistor current sources.
It was definitely interesting, great demo, and everything was clear, including audio : )

I thought you were using dedicated camera, until I read the content after viewing the video, and realized it was a camera in a phone. Great results.

RE: Simple Transistor Current Sources (and Sinks)

Good video Frank; can I call out the lack of err’s and umm’s and fluffed lines and the sound was fine. Loved the Lego men holding the wires, start he day with a smile. You could follow up with a video showing the relative advantages/disadvantages of each approach, e.g. load regulation of a voltage divider vs, say, the forward biased diodes.

RE: Simple Transistor Current Sources (and Sinks)

Good demonstration of current sources. I usually watch videos at double speed and in this case I can follow the video at double speed very well. At double speed you look much younger.

If you start the video with a small sample of the final demonstration with the LEDs before explaining the theory, I think you would capture even more attention. The demo is very good.

RE: Simple Transistor Current Sources (and Sinks)

This post is hopefully of interest to some, but my other motivation is a desire to improve the quality of the videos I'm developing. I've purchased an external USB microphone and it has helped improve the audio quality in my opinion but we are still a long way from studio quality :-). The video is being shot on my iPhone. I'm using Shotcut to do the editing. Comments on how it can be improved are welcome.
