Awesome blog post! Great subject. Very inspiring to see. In the past I was a tattoo apprentice for a brief period of time. Many of my friends work in the Tattoo and Body Modification Industry. They often have the best experience in the science of implanting foreign materials into the human body.

I know a few people that have done Body Suspensions from hooks attached to various parts of the body. While this is not something I would try myself, I still find it interesting. The human body is an amazing computer.

I've had mine for about 3 years and never had any trouble with it. The read range is indeed fairly limited due to the size of the tag.

Most commercial readers require you to have the implant right on one of the PCB antenna traces. I created a custom reader using an inductor and it works pretty well. This one is set up to type in my password and log me into my PC.

He leido casi todo el articulo y no encuentro qué es lo que realiza el chip implantado.

Podrían explicarme que es lo que hace el chip especificamente.

You should have gotten the I2C-B version that interfaces directly with your brain stem.

Then you could take data when the chip is used, when/where/who/GPS location and Time Stamp.

Watch out for nearby Tesla coils that may overload the chip with RF energy and detonate the internal squib.

Did they tell you about the side-effects: how the back of your hand would become hard, scabrous scales; thick black bristles would grow at all the joints; and your finger nails would morph into talons?

What's the range like? The coil must be very small, compared to what you'd have with a credit-card sized effort, so that will compromise to some extent its ability to collect enough power to run the processor, won't it?
