I think the best part of CES for me were the Apple employees. I met some in the line up to from LVCC to the Sands and when I mentioned that I notice dthey were from Apple they promptly said oops that their badges should be turned around and then ignored anything further I had to say or ask them. Very classy Apple very classy.

From what I know, LG stood for Lucky Goldstar, as they were formerly just known as Goldstar. "Life's Good" was their tagline ... but I'm not sure ... is life actually good? ... *enter philosophical mode*

Very interesting stuff! Really good idea to document what interested you from others exhibitions. Great write-up.

Also your thoughts on the 'human characteristics sensing' made me remember a story.. a well-known computing manufacturer's engineers demonstrated some similar concept to their internal staff a while back, and it had teething problems because I heard that it accidentally misidentified one of the VIPs present as the wrong gender! Very awkward! : )
