Nice detailed post that took me back a few decades.

I remember working with transistor circuits back in the day.

Sometimes they could be a challenge, especially when you got to higher frequencies.

This post was, in part, an experiment to see how a blog in an old, somewhat moribund group that hasn't had anything posted to it since 2017 would get indexed by a search engine.

See this thread if you want the background to this: Where would you expect the different kinds of blogging content I produce to be found?

Here is the result of searching Bing

So at least one of the major search engines has picked it up within a few hours.

That's in contrast to my own blog here which doesn't seem to have been crawled in the several years I've been posting to it.

Is there any chance [mention:e533a280d27446f88d5eca64e725a4fb:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] that this particular group could be changed so that:

a) it has a sensible name ('Analog Design' is good, 'analog technology' sounds like a marketing brochure);
b) the name is in capitals (to match the other major groups);
c) the URL had correct spelling?

Very informative study of the circuit. I really enjoy your approach in learning all about the things that most of us take for granted.
