I would make a mini vibration measurement device that can be attached to objects to measure their vibrations. For example, vibrations of optical mounts in laser lab.

This is indeed a great kit - BLE is a hot technology to be learning right now and of course PSoC Creator is such a powerful and easy development tool to use.

@Jan Cumps points out that it may be useful in trying to figure out how to communicate with the TI BLE LED modules which I am in the middle of road testing, so it is doubly tempting. However, I don't want to hog the giveaways and I can get by without it.

I'd try to pair with a sound streaming host and create fun visualizations from digitized sound wave in processing or arduino IDE based on incoming data over a serial connection.

I am playing by a while with the standard PSOC4 and 5 for a couple of projects. Actually I am not using any dev kit and I have to control several hardware (stepper motor, solenoid, relais, analog data from sensors etc) As I have experienced an almost complex Android project in a recent past with BLE it will be a great idea to apply some of the hardware controlled devices under the Android tablet / smartphone control via BLE.

Great kit. I have one of those from that RoadTest.

The BLE USB dongle is also useful for SimpleLink SensorTag owners - you can sniff the SimpleLink BLE attributes and characteristics with it.
