I'm sure I left a comment yesterday, but it seems to habve dsappeared. (I'll put it down to user error rather than a problem with the new site.)

I had one of these and it worked really well for years - until I overstressed the jaws trying to clamp something really tight. That probably counts as abuse rather than fair use so I can still recommend it. The ball join can also move a bit if you're sawing or filing something large as the work piece is held quite high above the bench.

So true. I remember struggling to pry open a failed LiIon battery pack. Then I realized I could drop it into a vise (gently of course). Cracked open in 3 seconds.
