I use your excellent vitis_ai_python_examples. But face_recognition.py demands --encodings encodings.pkl. Would You please add python file for building this encodings.pkl from some folder with images.

Hi,

For this part,

root@xilinx-k26-starterkit-2020_2:~# ln -s /lib/firmware/xilinx/kv260-smartcam/kv260-smartcam.xclbin /usr/lib/dpu.xclbin

root@xilinx-k26-starterkit-2020_2:~# dexplorer --whoami

After I entered " dexplorer --whoami " I got,

[DNNDK_XRT] Invalid bitstream: /usr/lib/dpu.xclbin

Does this mean that KV260 smartcam app has no B3136 DPU?

I am going through your instructions but I've encountered issues:

1. It failed with command: dnf install packagegroup-petalinux-kv260-smartcam-dev

result: "Last metadata expiration check: 12:45:37 ago on Sun Jul 11 19:02:37 2021.

No match for argument: packagegroup-petalinux-kv260-aibox-reid-dev

Error: Unable to find a match"

2. I cannot build examples, I think it related to issue 1.

Thank you Mario for showing how to do this so that we can compare "Apples to Apples" with other platforms to see the true performance increase that we see with the DPU acceleration!
